Verification and validation Verification and validation of the design is often overlooking in the early stages of planning and can have a major impact on costs and timescales. A lot of design proving activity misses the point taking a lot of time to prove very little and providing no objective evidence. Careful consideration at an early stage can yield much improved test coverage and realise significant cost savings.
